After holding an open house at the end of December to gather donated items for soldiers at Walter Reed Medical Center, as well as stationing a donation box at JJDeli in the Herndon Centennial Golf Course, Herndon residents Jackie and Jeff Johnson delivered the items to the soldiers. The couple, who own JJDeli, brought the items to the American Red Cross Armed Forces who will distribute the donated goods.
