The Herndon High School After Prom Committee, chaired by Cindy Wei, will have an interest meeting on Tuesday Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. in the lecture hall.

Prom is not until April 28, 2007 but it requires a lot of organization to get the event planned and underway. The group needs volunteers to do the following: arrange activities, food, decorations, check in/out, organize volunteers for the event and prizes as well as those who would like to assist through out the night of the event.

Alex Jones, Herndon High School Class of 2007, will be marching with his tuba in the Macy’s Day Parade on Thanksgiving. Alex is one of four Virginia students who will be part of the band that will lead the parade. Alex was chosen after attending summer band camp at the University of Virginia.
