Following a two-year application process, The Great Falls Yoga Institute was recently approved for registration by Yoga Alliance as a Yoga Teacher Training School at the 200-Hour Level.
In order to satisfy the minimum qualifications for Yoga Alliance teacher registration, prospective yoga instructors must successfully complete at least 200 hours of training in yoga techniques, practice, philosophy, anatomy, business and ethics all of which course work must be offered by a Yoga Alliance-registered teacher training school.
Teacher training at GFYI is based around Angiras Yoga, a form of yoga developed by Ellen Carroll and taught only at The Institute. Angiras Yoga is a lifestyle-enhancing yoga form which includes elements of wellness and healing and incorporates aspects of traditional Hatha yoga. Visit www.greatfallsyoga.com.
