Ordell P. Olson, 77, of Mechanicsville and formerly from Alexandria, passed way April 23. He is survived by his wife Marjorie Olson; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Christine Olson; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and James L. Young III; grandson James L. Young IV, all of Mechanicsville; sister Janice Denler of Tinley Park, Ill.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Diehl and Lou Ott of Bedford, N.H. and numerous other nieces and nephews. The Family received friends at the Bennett Funeral Home in Mechanicsville on April 30. A memorial service was held at Shady Grove Methodist Church in Mechanicsville on May 1.
