Hit and Run Kills Herndon Man

Jeremy Brader, 27, of Herndon was found dead after police responded to a call of a person lying in the roadway on Saturday, Nov. 24, around 2:30 a.m. Brader was found in the 7000 block of Ordway Road in Centreville, near the intersection with Compton Road, apparently struck by a vehicle that left the scene.

Brader, a 1997 graduate of Herndon High School, had no identification on him when the police first found him. Fairfax County Police detectives posted a bulletin on craigslist for further information on the case. According to the bulletin, Brader was last seen in Herndon, leaving Breakers — an establishment near the corner of Sunrise Valley Drive and Centreville Road — with a group of friends. Fairfax County Public Information Officer Lieutenant Dan Courtney said he was not aware of that information. He added that all indications are that the hit and run occurred at the spot where Brader was found.
