Tysons Corner Holiday Inn Becomes Crowne Plaza

The Holiday Inn Tysons Corner has completed its upgrade to a Crowne Plaza Hotel. A multi-million dollar renovation of the hotel included upgrades to all public areas, the ballroom, the hotel’s restaurants and the building’s exterior.

The hotel, adjacent to Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria, is within walking distance to numerous corporations including Booz Allen & Hamilton, Wachovia Bank, Ariel Research Corporation, Bearing Point, and the Mitre Corp. The Crowne Plaza Tysons Corner will provide shuttle service to local businesses, shopping and dining, as well as to and from the Dunn Loring Metro station.

“Our hotel has been a long-standing member in the Tysons Corner community,” said Trish Drews, general manager of the hotel. “We have seen the area grow, and we have been proud to see our hotel flourish along with the area. With all the growth in Tysons Corner, this is the perfect time to upgrade to a Crowne Plaza.”

To celebrate the fact that all 316 rooms and suites have received new Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage Ensembles, a drawing for a sleep ensemble will be held. The winner will receive a king or double-size mattress and box spring, Euro shams, a duvet, a decorative e-pillow, a mattress topper, a cotton blanket, sleep pillows, lavender spray, a night-light, sleep relaxation tips and a sleep CD along with an AM/FM alarm clock with CD and MP3 player. The contest will run from today until Oct. 17. To learn more and enter visit www.cptysonscorner.com.
