The Christmas Attic, 125 S. Union St., a small family-owned business established in 1971, was recently honored with a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Small Business Award. The award was presented in recognition of the company's dedication to excellence.
Top small businesses nationwide are annually recognized by the U.S. Chamber who excel in a variety of selection criteria, including: financial performance and business history, staff training and motivation, community involvement, customer service, and business planning.
"It was such a thrill to be honored at a national level for our hard work and team effort. We have always been proud of being a woman owned small business but to be recognized for our successes is fabulous," said Fay Carter, president, The Christmas Attic.
