All local area vendors are invited to attend Loudoun County Procurement�s 2008 buyer/seller information exchange sessions. These sessions are to provide information on the county�s procurement processes and upcoming contracts. The sessions will take place May 22 at 2 p.m. and June 25 at 10:30 a.m. The sessions will take place at the Loudoun County Government Center. Jennifer Mangum and Suzan Meredith of Redecorate Today, a Northern Virginia interior refining company, have been named a "Gold Members" of the Interior Refiners Network, an organization of one-day redecorators who provide affordable, professional, quality decorating help to the public by working with them to transform their homes by using what they own.

Sterling-based JK Moving & Storage was designated as "the Official Moving Company of the Washington Nationals." Under the terms of the agreement, JK will move the team into its new facilities, a move that will culminate with a ceremonial delivery of home plate from RFK to the new ballpark in time for opening day. Earlier this year, JK shipped the team's gear from D.C. to Florida for spring training.

The Country Inn & Suites By Carlson located in Sterling announced the hiring of Alex Pineda as the new general manager. Pineda is a native from El Salvador and brings eight years of experience in the hospitality industry to the position.

Indra A. Books, owner of On The Go 4U LLC, has launched ConciergeConsole a new online concierge management application she developed. ConciergeConsole is the first all-inclusive, entirely Web-based product to serve one-person firms as well as small-business owners. It allows business owners to manage business from anywhere there is an Internet connection.

Reston Limousine ranked in first place on the recent Washington Business Journal list of the top 25 executive transportation service companies in the Washington, D.C.-metropolitan area. The company is owned by Leesburg resident Kristina Bouweiri. Since 2003, the company has more than doubled its revenues. Bouweiri is actively involved as a board member in a number of local organizations, including the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce, Dulles Area Transportation Association, the Loudoun Convention and Visitors Association and numerous trade organizations.
