Mr. and Mrs. John Patrick Wiese, currently of Saint Louis, Mo. and formerly of Burke and Fairfax Station, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ellen Catherine to Edward Jeffrey Thompson.
The bride is a graduate of Lake Braddock Secondary School. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and her MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is the brand manager for Stove Top dressing for Kraft Foods in Glenview, Ill.
The groom is the son of Freda and Jeffrey Thompson of San Carlos, Mexico, and is a native of Westminster, Calif. who received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and is presently employed as a mechanical engineer with
Bosch Corporation in Mount Prospect, Ill.
An October wedding is planned in St. Louis, Mo.
