John and Leslie Ariail opened up their home on Thursday, Feb. 19, for the Friends of Stratford Hall annual reception. Stratford Hall was built in 1738 by Thomas Lee on a bluff overlooking the Potomac River.

This year’s event was co-chaired by Mary Elizabeth Duke, Whitney McDonough and Susan Hunt.
