The Mount Vernon Farmer’s Market is open again for business.

Tuesday, May 5, was the opening day of the seasonal producers market in the Mount Vernon area. Strawberries are lush and sweet, garden perennial flowers and bushes, herbs for cooking, free range meats, fresh baked goods are all plentiful at the Tuesday morning market.

Hours are from 8 a.m. till noon in the parking lot next to the Sherwood Hall Library on Sherwood Hall Lane.
