<b>Episcopal Football Wins Third Straight</b>

The Episcopal football team defeated Bullis 34-7 on Friday, giving the Maroons (4-4) three consecutive victories after a 1-4 start.

One week earlier, Episcopal defeated St. Stephen’s/St. Agnes 14-12. The Maroon scored a pair of second-quarter touchdowns and held on for the win. Colin Thomas scored on a 2-yard run and Connor Gallegos caught a 35-yard touchdown pass from Hunter De Butts.

Episcopal hosts Woodberry Forrest on Saturday.

<b>Bishop Ireton Football Wins</b>

The Bishop Ireton football team defeated St. Mary’s Ryken 43-21 on Friday. The win improved the Cardinals to 7-3.

<b>SSSA Football Loses</b>

The St. Stephen’s/St. Agnes football team lost to St. Albans 56-21 on Saturday. The loss dropped the Saints to 5-4.

<b>Titans Receive All-District Field Hockey Honors</b>

Seven members of the T.C. Williams field hockey team received all-Patriot District honors for the 2009 season. Junior defender Katelyn Clarke and junior forward Kelsey Donley led the way as members of the first team.

Junior midfielder Charlie Digby and freshman goalkeeper Megan Boyle received second-team honors. Senior forward Katy Mendez, junior midfielder Charlie Digby and freshman midfielder Emma Bracken received honorable mention accolades.

<b>Branch, Whitmire Named All-District</b>

T.C. Williams volleyball players Miranda Branch and Kate Whitmire garnered all-Patriot District honors this season. Branch, a senior outside hitter, was named to the first team while Whitmire, a freshman middle blocker, garnered honorable mention honors.
