— West Potomac Academy hosted an open house for prospective students on its campus at West Potomac High School on Friday, Feb. 17. All classes were open and showcased current studies.

The Academy is one of the five professional technical centers available to students enrolled in Fairfax County high schools. West Potomac Academy offers career electives in 11 areas: Dance, fashion design, music and computer technology, professional television production, professional graphics studio, criminal justice, dental careers, occupational/physical therapy, pharmacy tech, medical health science and early childhood careers.
