Call for Art
ArtSpace Herndon invites photographers from D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia to participate in the 2012 ArtSpace Herndon Fine Art Photography Competition.
The competition is open to fine art photographers aged 18 or older working in any medium (digital or analog, color or monochrome), and using any printing technique. Fine Art Photography of any subject is welcome; there is no required theme for entries. The juror for this year's competition is Mary Louise Ravese of Bella Vista Photography. Entry Deadline: March 24 by 5 p.m. Finalists for the Competition will make up the May 2012 Exhibition at ArtSpace Herndon in the main Nelson J. and Katherine Friant Post Gallery. After Prom Committee Seeks New Chairman
The current After Prom Committee Chairman has had to step down and the Herndon High School PTSA are in desperate need of a chairman again. The planning and work has already begun and we need someone to oversee its finish. This is a one-year position that should be held by a Class of 2013 parent. However, any parent is welcome to volunteer for this position. If there is no new chairman for this committee by Feb. 29 the 2012 After Prom party will have to be cancelled.
