Letter: Liberty’s Disgrace

To the Editor:

As Governor of Massachusetts, Romney signed same-sex marriage into law, though it will be instructive to note that he was under absolutely no obligation to do so.

When asked earlier this year at the South Carolina Debate [Fox News] whether or not, as President, he would have signed the National Defense Authorization Act, which lifted the military ban on sodomy and bestiality, he glibly replied, “Yes, I would have.”

He has worked to facilitate (1) the murder of children, through the institution of $50 co-pay abortions, (2) the enslavement and subjugation of ordinary citizens, under a torrent of phony, liberalized legislative enactments, and (3) the destruction of our religious freedom, under an emerging theocracy of secular humanism.

Outside of Obama himself, I cannot think of a more ruthless political figure to have ever held executive office here in the United States.

For Liberty University to offer its “stamp of approval” to such a man is a disgrace.
