McLean Students to Celebrate National Bike to School Day

Fourth graders at the Langley School in McLean will join schools from around the country to celebrate National Bike to School Day on May 9. Approximately 17 students and 5 parents will be riding to school on Wednesday. The event is being organized by Marge and James MacKeith, parents of 4th grader, Iain, to celebrate the first-ever National Bike to School Day.

The event will begin at 7:15 a.m. with children and parents setting off from the Dominican Retreat, 7103 Old Dominion Drive, and continuing up Dolly Madison Boulevard on the bike path and sidewalk leading to school.
