Alexandria Police are investigating an attempted bank robbery that occurred at the Bank of America, located at 600 N. Washington St. Around 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, a woman entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding money. The teller backed away from the window and the suspect fled the bank. She was last seen on foot heading eastbound on Pendleton Street. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a black female, approximately 5’5” with a medium build. She was wearing jeans, a dark jacket with a navy blue and gray scarf wrapped around her head and sunglasses.
