A memorial service for Dr. Teressa Caldwell, a teacher, administrator, and mentor who died late last year will be held at West Potomac High School on Wednesday, April 10. A former principal of West Potomac, Caldwell’s career as an educator spanned several decades. She also served as principal at McLean High School. She later taught school law for the University of Virginia to prospective administrators and led a master’s cohort for Virginia Tech.
Wednesday's memorial service, organized by Caldwell's former colleagues and students, will be a time to share reflections and discussion of Caldwell's life. The school will also unveil a memorial plaque to be placed in West Potomac's Springbank Fine Arts building. Organizers are also supporting a scholarship in Caldwell's name.
