The Energy House will hold its next Education and Demonstration Showcase, Energy House Six, on April 27 and 28 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. at 2617 N. Nottingham St. in Arlington. Energy House is showcasing this home to highlight the energy systems offered in this green project. Energy House has teamed with Arlington Designer Homes LLC to showcase the newest green home in Arlington.
There are a number of firsts for this Energy House:
First brand new home being presented by the Energy House.
First green builder being featured by the Energy House.
First time the Energy House has come to Arlington.
The N. Nottingham property has additional energy features not normally seen in new construction such as passive solar gain, a green roof, water reclaiming rain gardens, and LED lighting.
Energy House is a partnership of companies in the Northern Virginia area that work together to provide residential energy upgrades through weatherization, insulation, smart technologies, solar thermal, HVAC, and geothermal.
