The following students graduated from James Madison University during the Dec. 15 commencement: Belinda Gorman graduated with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting. Gregory Wahler graduated with a bachelor of science degree in communication studies. Katherine Ward graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in English. Paul Disselkoen graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in English. Kirsty Clark graduated with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology. James Dressing graduated with a bachelor of business administration degree in management. Richard Hagstrom graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree in studio art.

Amanda Cain was named to the dean’s list at Wake Forest University.

Paul Fiesel, a University of Dallas student recently returned from spending the 2012 fall semester studying abroad at the University of Dallas' 12-acre Eugene Constantin Campus just outside Rome, Italy.

Lauren Kirkland class of 2015 has been named to the dean's list at Elmira College. Lauren is majoring in Psychology.

Mary Keegan, a senior at James Madison University, earned the first-place award in lighting design at the Mid-Atlantic Region II Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival at Towson University in Md. Keegan, who is majoring in theater and English, won the regional award for her work on the fall production of "Anna in the Tropics." She will compete in the National KCACTF at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in April.

Hasamone Nimjareansuk was named to Niagara University’s academic dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester.

Daniel Paul Baylog of Alexandria was named to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln deans' list/honor roll for the fall semester of the 2012-13 academic year. Baylog is a senior computer science major.

Anna Wissler has been named to the 2012 fall semester dean's list at Lafayette College.
