Winter classes and club activities are underway at most of the city’s recreation centers. The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities sponsors a number of local clubs that include: Alexandria Coin Club, Olde Town Fencing Club, Alexandria Harmonizers Barbershop Quartets and Chorus, MYO SIM Kendo/Karate Club, The Seaports Side Chorus-Alexandria Chapter of the Sweet Adelines International and The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.
