Gandee to Lead Mount Vernon Lee Chamber

Jane Gandee, owner of ServiceMaster Restore on Fordson Road, was recently selected as the 2017 chairman of Mount Vernon Lee Chamber of Commerce. Gandee and her husband have owned and operated the ServiceMaster franchise for the past 30 years. She is also on the board of directors for The Salvation Army Alexandria Citadel and Rising Hope Mission Church.

Joining her on the chamber’s executive committee will be President Scott Stroh III, executive director of Gunston Hall; Vice President Sonja Caison, owner of The Cleaning Authority; Board Secretary Paul Gaymon, The Gaymon Law Firm; and Treasurer Christopher S. Reddick, The National Capital Bank.

Recently elected to the board of directors were Dr. D.R. Butler, Mount Vernon Rotary Club; Debbie Farson, HomeWise Referrals Inc.; Jason Hunt, Roy Rogers Restaurants; Stanley Koussis, Andrews Federal Credit Union; and Josh Toth, Burke & Herbert Bank.

Selected to fill unexpired terms on the Board were Cindy Hurrle, Mount Vernon Country Club, and Mark Murray, Fort Belvoir Swim Team.

New officers and board members will be installed at the Holiday Biz Awards Celebration on Dec. 16 and begin their terms of service on Jan. 1, 2017.
