To the Editor:
For the first time in the 18 years I have lived on Duke Drive, the VDOT snow plow came down my side of the street after I sought constituent services from our new state delegate, Paul Krizek.
About five houses sit on the wrong side of a widening in the street on the 6800 block. When it snows, we have to dig out not only our drives but another three car lengths or so to get to the plowed area. The other side was plowed Sunday and my side was plowed Monday after I emailed Paul’s aide Thomas Bowman for help. And how cool is this site where you can track the plows and see the road conditions at VDOTplows.org ?
