The City of Fairfax held a doggone-good event – its second annual Fido Fest – last Saturday, June 3. It was hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department on the civic green outside the Sherwood Community Center. Dogs enjoyed playing in small wading pools and a pop-up dog park, and their owners visited vendors offering products and services for their pets.
