Council member Carey Sienicki met with Aden Dreyer and Lydia Plante.

Save the Town of Vienna compost program to support the environment. That is what Vienna residents Adan Dreyer, 8, and Lydia Plante, 13, dedicated themselves to remind the Town Council before the 2020 budget vote on May 13. During the Walk on the Hill, they set up a booth with posters and obtained more than 150 signatures. Aden added signatures from his entire second grade class at Louise Archer Elementary School to raise the total to more than 170. The mulching program is currently not a high priority item on the Town agenda, and these kids wanted to be sure that someone spoke out.
