Immunization Requirements for Montgomery County Students: Free Immunizations Offered

Incoming students entering grades seven through 12 are required to have one Tdap (Tetanus-diphtheria-attenuated pertussis) and one meningococcal (MCV4) vaccination. Students who do not show proof of vaccinations by Monday, Sept. 23 will be excluded from school until documentation is received.

Montgomery County Health and Human Services staff will provide free Tdap and MCV4 vaccinations to incoming students at several locations throughout the county. No appointment is necessary. A parent or designated adult must be present. Please bring a copy of the child’s immunization record to the clinic.

The locations and clinic hours are:

Germantown Health Center 12900 Middlebrook Road, Germantown

Thursdays, Sept. 19, 1 to 4 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 23, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 24, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dennis Avenue Health Center 2000 Dennis Avenue, Silver Spring

Tuesday, Sept. 24), 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 19, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 23, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 25, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
