<sh>Taste of the Town
<bt>This Saturday, June 22, 35,000 people are expected to attend this year's Taste of the Town, sponsored by the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. The food-sampling event will feature food from more than 30 restaurants, along with live entertainment at the Reston Town Center. There will be a "Kid's Korner," featuring several children's events. Taste of the Town is open to the public with free admission and parking. Taste tickets are $1 each. Tastes typically cost between one and five tickets. This year's proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
The event will run from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. Bands performing will include Mercy Creek, Cravin' Dogs, Michael Heaven Project, Blind Date and Swing Speak with Tom Principato, concluding the evening from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. For more information on the festival visit www.restonchamber.org or send an e-mail to restonbiz@restonchamber.org.
