The following incidents were reported by the Herndon Police Department through Nov. 21.

<cal1>ASSAULT

<lst>800 block Sycamore Street. Nov. 19, 12:11 a.m., the complainant reported an acquaintance had pushed her. Warrant procedures were explained.

500 block Early Fall Court. Nov. 17, 5:37 p.m., Norlina Gross, 42, of Herndon, was arrested for assaulting an acquaintance. Minor injuries were observed. She was released on a summons.

600 block Spring Street. Nov. 20, 2:30 a.m., Nada Christina Schexnayder, 30, of Sterling, was arrested for assaulting an acquaintance and being drunk in public. Minor injuries were observed. She was transported to the Fairfax County ADC.

<cal1>DRUNK IN PUBLIC ARRESTS

<lst>500 block Florida Avenue. Nov. 15, 12:45 a.m., Marcelo Gerardo Castanon, 29, of Louisville, Ky., and David Maximo Mejia, 23, of Herndon, were arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.

1100 block Elden Street. Nov. 16, 11:25 a.m., Marco Julio Hernandez, 30, of no fixed address, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.

1100 block Elden Street. Nov. 17, 12:01 a.m., Marco Julio Hernandez, 30, of no fixed address, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.

<cal1>LARCENY

<lst>300 block Cherry Court. Nov. 21, 11:57 a.m., a compact-disc player and rear license plate were taken from a parked vehicle.

600 block Dulles Park Court. Nov. 16, 2 a.m., the complainant reported his vehicle stolen. The vehicle was recovered in Fairfax County. Case active patrol.

<cal1>OTHER VIOLATIONS

<lst>Sterling Road/Herndon Parkway. Nov. 16, 12:28 a.m., a 17-year-old male of Fair Oaks was arrested for possession of alcohol and released to a relative.

1000 block Sterling Road. Nov. 19, 6:24 a.m., Marvin Rene Zepeda, 28, of Charlotte, N.C., was arrested for driving without a license and was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC. He was held on a $750 bond.

100 block Elden Street. Nov. 19, 4:21 p.m., a subject wrote a check that returned for insufficient funds. The complainant was advised of warrant procedures.

1100 block Elden Street. Nov. 16, 11:10 a.m., Jacqueline Deloise Escobar, 39, of Reston, was arrested for drinking in public, and released on a summons.

1100 block Elden Street. Nov. 16, 3:57 p.m., Roberto Cortez, 19, of Reston, was arrested for urinating in public. He was released on a summons.

1100 block Elden Street. Nov. 20, 3:52 p.m., Jose S. Alfaro, 50, of Herndon, was arrested for drinking in public and released on a summons.

<cal1>DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

<lst>400 block Elden Street. Nov. 19, 11:49 a.m., Terrance Eugene Peden, 42, of Ivor, Va., was arrested for destruction of property, and soliciting without a license. He was transported to the Fairfax County ADC and held on a $1,000 bond.

<cal1>NARCOTICS VIOLATION

<lst>900 block Alabama Drive. Nov. 18, 7:25 p.m., John Wellington McCoy, 31, of Herndon, was arrested for possession of marijuana, disorderly conduct, drunk in public, and fail to appear. He was transported to the Fairfax County ADC and held on a $500 bond.

<cal1>DWI ARRESTS

<lst>Dulles Park Court/Alabama Drive. Nov. 20, 2:15 a.m., Luis Eduardo Cardenas Jr., 29, Bethesda, Md., was arrested for DWI and refusal to submit to a breath test. He was transported to the Fairfax County ADC and held on a $750 bond. Alessandro J. Conti, 32, of Washington D.C., was a passenger in the vehicle. He was arrested for drunk in public and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.

500 block Florida Avenue. Nov. 21, 1:33 a.m., Samuel Sosa Serrano, 26, of Herndon, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.

Herndon Parkway/Palmer Drive. Nov. 21, 2:30 a.m., Dimas Melendez, 29, of Sterling, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County ADC.

<lst>900 block Alabama Drive; Dranesville Road/Bennett Street, Herndon High School; 901 Locust Street; and 601 Dranesville Road.
