A new Red Robin Gourmet Burgers opened in Chantilly on Oct. 4 — the company's ninth Virginia restaurant.
Located at 14450 Chantilly Crossing Lane (near the Target), the restaurant seats 202 guests, will employ more than 120 team members, and spans more than 6,350 square feet. There are 245 Red Robin Gourmet Burger restaurants nationwide.
Famous for its 22 different gourmet burgers, patrons can choose from toppings such as green chiles, guacamole, grilled pineapple, or sautéed mushrooms — to name a few. The restaurant also offers all-you-can-eat steak fries, mixed drinks, soups, salads, entrees, and desserts.
Due to its commitment to families, Red Robin restaurants are all 100 percent smoke free.
As a part of its grand opening celebration, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers has promised to donate 50 cents from every burger sold during its opening week, Oct. 4-10, to the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, which was on hand for the opening. All money donated will go towards the development of the department's public education programs.
Joined by members of the Herndon Dulles Chamber of Commerce, restaurant marketing manager Annette Miller handed over a check to signify the restaurant's pledge. "On behalf of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, we would like to welcome Red Robin to our community and thank them for this generous donation," said Lt. Mark D. Stone.
"This is going to be a fun place for people to come. On behalf of the community, we are pleased to welcome Red Robin," said Herndon Dulles Chamber Vice-Chair Pat Williams, after presenting General Manager Daniel Grimsley with a plaque symbolizing the restaurant's membership in the chamber.
FOUNDED in 1969, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers is a casual dining restaurant chain that focuses on serving an imaginative selection of high-quality gourmet burgers in a family-friendly environment.
The company's main client base is women, teens, and tweens, but "with its pop culture environment, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers can appeal to everyone," said marketing manager Annette Miller.
Red Robin President, and CEO Mike Snyder encourages the community to stop by and enjoy the best the restaurant has to offer. "Not only will you enjoy one of our 22 gourmet burgers, you'll be supporting your local firefighters," said Snyder.
