Members of Northern Virginia mosques and organizations gathered for their sixth Annual Northern Virginia Family and Civic Picnic on Saturday Aug. 26 at Lake Fairfax Park.
Sponsors included the All Dulles Area Muslim Society, Dar Al-Hijrah, Manassas Mosque, Muslim Association of Virginia, Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation, Muslim Public Affairs Council, and Council on American-Islamic Relations, all non profit organizations. Political candidates from all parties were invited to address the community.
