Jubilee Christian Center will be having a special Healing Service on Sunday, July 2 at 6:30 p.m., with Rev. Warren Van Dolsen speaking and praying for physical and spiritual needs. Jesus heals, especially reaching out to the weak and the outsiders. Pastor Jeremy McLeod leads worship on this theme at 10 a.m., Centreville Firehouse #17, 5856 Old Centreville Road. Communion during worship is open to all. Sunday School classes for children meet during the worship hour, followed by fellowship with fair trade coffee and treats. Wellspring is thoughtful, prayerful, justice-seeking, and open and affirming to seekers of all backgrounds. Wellspring is part of the "God is still speaking" movement in the United Church of Christ. Television and stage actor, Jim Wead, will present a one-person historical/patriotic musical drama, "God's Hand on America," at the Jubilee Christian Center on Sunday, July 9, during the 8:45 and 11 a.m. services. Wead presents the history of the U. S. presidents from the perspective of a White House "angel" (janitor). Wead has appeared in various TV shows, including "Teenage Father," "Little House on the Prairie," "Family," "Quincy," and "Fame." The performances are free. An offering will be received. Jewish Singles will gather for a Wine and Snack Schmooze followed by Shabbat services at Congregation Beth Emeth in Herndon on Friday, July 14 at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome. Beth Emeth is a conservative Synagogue serving the communities of Fairfax, Loudoun, and surrounding metro area. This event is cosponsored by the JCC of Northern Virginia. Centreville United Methodist Church will hold Vacation Bible School from July 17-21. Choose morning session or evening session. This year's them is "Fiesta ... where kids get fired up about Jesus!" Community Care Groups at New Life Christian Church

* Food Freedom — A Celebrate Recovery Support Group. This group uses a proven Biblical approach to promote healing from compulsive eating problems. The group meets at Westfield High School at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. Child Care is provided.

* Help for Hurts, Habits, and Hang-Ups — A Celebrate Recovery Group. This group uses the 12-step approach coupled with the teachings of Jesus to help overcome or cope with all types of addictions, compulsions and life problems. The group meets at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday at Westfield High School. Child care is provided.

* Dealing with Divorce — A Divorce Care Support Group. This is a video-based seminar group for people who are separated or divorced. The group is a place to receive sound information about ways to heal from the hurt and to cope with the life pressures which accompany separation and divorce. The group meets at 11 a.m. each Sunday at Westfield High School. Child care is provided.

Healthy Boundaries — Getting Control of Your Life. The group helps the over-stressed, over-worked and over-committed to gain control of their lives through developing healthy, balanced relationships. The group meets at 7:30 p.m. each Thursday at 13777 Laurel Rock Drive; Clifton.

The Activity Center at Saint Andrew Lutheran Church is every Sunday after the 11 a.m. Service's Children's Sermon. Children ages 3-7 go to the preschool area while parents listen to the sermon without interruption from little ones. New Life Christian Church is forming a new Grief Share Group for persons who are experiencing the hurt associated with loss of a loved one. The group meets for 12 sessions using a video-based discussion format and is effective in helping survivors deal with the issues faced by persons going through a period of grief.
