Suspects Shoot, Rob Sterling Men

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double shooting in the Pembrooke area of Sterling late Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Two men in their early 20s were allegedly robbed and shot in the 400 block of East Dartmouth Drive in Sterling. They were parked outside of a group of condominiums waiting for friends when two men approached them and stole their wallets, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The victims were shot, one in the leg and the other in the hip; and as of Monday, remained at Inova Fairfax Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.

THE SUSPECTS are both said to be black males who were wearing gray-hooded sweatshirts at the time of the shooting and fled the scene of the crime in a dark-colored vehicle, according to the Sheriff's Office.
