The county Planning Commission is holding several public input sessions around the county to give residents a chance to comment on the proposed 2007 Countywide Transportation Plan.
The transportation plan is being updated to address a variety of growth and transportation issues, including transportation and land-use plans of surrounding communities that could effect Loudoun and recently approved and pending Comprehensive Plan amendments that could effect traffic. The new plan also hopes to answer questions, such as what the planned improvements along Route 7 will do to improve traffic, how the Leesburg bypass can be improved and what can bus or rail transit do to improve congestion.
The input sessions will be held at various locations throughout the county to give residents an opportunity to comment.
