These two little Pomeranians, Tiger and Truffle, lost their loved one, long-time Potomac resident Myer (Mike) Feldman who died suddenly in March. Mr. Feldman was the former deputy special counsel to President Kennedy. After 17 years in the same home, these doggie senior citizens are sad and confused and in need of a loving person to help them adjust to a new life.
It is not easy to take in older dogs, as they have some special needs. They are lovable, with big hopeful eyes and a bouncy nature for their age. They enjoy walks on a leash and love treats. Although they sleep much of the time, they need someone gentle and caring to be there when they wake up. They have taken their change-of-living situation in stride and are showing their lively personalities again, after a month of grieving.
