Great Falls was singin’ in the rain Sunday evening, which was the first night of the Summer Concerts on the Green at the Great Falls Village Centre. The BeSharps Band was the focus and played a variety of hits that all ages "got down" to. Despite overcast skies and powerful winds, a crowd laid down their blankets and set up lawn chairs for an evening of music under the stars. "The BeSharps band sounds great tonight. I’ll definitely be coming to more of these concerts on future Sundays," said Reston resident Gretchen Zience. Mother Nature decided to end this concert early, but as long as weather permits, the concerts will continue at the Great Falls Village Centre this season. The Summer Concerts on the Green will begin each Sunday evening at 6 p.m. through July 8.
