Brigid Wright of Herndon made the Highly Distinguished Honors List for the spring 2008 semester at the College of Charleston
Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. has Benjamin Wheeler, Herndon, Class of 2011, to its dean’s list for the Spring 2008 semester.
Katherine E. Wolfe, Herndon, daughter of Leonard and Elaine Wolfe of Oak Hill, and a 2004 graduate of Oakton High School, graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor of arts in Economics at Bucknell University. She had been named to the university’s dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2007-08 academic year.
Arienne Johnson, a Herndon native, is participating in the Goshen (Ind.) College Study-Service Term (SST) in Senegal during this summer, along with 22 other students. Goshen established an SST unit in the French-speaking West African country in 2004 and this is the third unit to go to the country. Arienne, daughter of Michael and Barbara Johnson of Herndon, is majoring in history at Goshen College. She is a 2006 graduate of Archbold (Ohio) High School and attends Zion Mennonite Church.
