Local Residents Nominated for Volunteer Service Awards

Volunteer Fairfax, along with the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, will honor 117 local volunteers during the 20th Anniversary Fairfax County Volunteer Service Awards sponsored by UnitedHealthcare. The awards will be held Friday, April 27, at the Waterford at Springfield in Springfield. In Centreville and Clifton, the following residents have been nominated for a Fairfax County Volunteer Service Award:

  • Toora Arsala volunteered at Northern Virginia Community College Democrats, and is nominated for the Adult Volunteer 250 Hours & Over Award and the Benchmark 500 Award.

  • Robert Dutrow volunteered at Cub Run RECenter, and is nominated for the Benchmark 250 Award.

  • Christina Galletta volunteered at Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program, and is nominated for the Rising Star Award.

  • Kenneth Hall volunteered at Cub Run RECenter, and is nominated for the County Volunteer Award.

  • Janet Helfand volunteered at Cub Run RECenter, and is nominated for the Rising Star Award.

  • Lee Hylton volunteered at Cub Run RECenter, and is nominated for the Senior Volunteer Award.

  • The Levy Family, Andrew, Gabrielle, and Aiden, are nominated for the Family Volunteer Award.

  • Andrew Levy volunteered at Caring Kids Cards, and is nominated for the Benchmark 500 Award.

  • Gabrielle Levy volunteered at Caring Kids Cards, and is nominated for the Youth Benchmark 100 Award.

  • Aiden Levy volunteered at Caring Kids Cards, and is nominated for the Youth Benchmark 100 Award.

  • Olivia Ryder volunteered at Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program, and is nominated for the Youth Volunteer Award.

  • Kelsey McCleskey volunteered at Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program, and is nominated for the Youth Benchmark 100 Award.
