Second Annual Cutest Dog Contest
Whole Foods Market in Springfield is having their 2nd Annual Cutest Dog in Springfield contest to raise money for The Whole Planet Foundation charity (www.wholeplanet.org).
The Contest will be held outside the store on Saturday, March 24, from noon to 3 p.m. For a $10 entry fee (all goes to charity), customers can get their dog photographed, and enter to win Whole Foods Market gift cards. The dogs get "doggie bags" too. Team members will vote for the winners.
Donating Used Books
The Robert E. Lee High School Library is accepting donations of used books for its annual book sale through March 30. Fiction and nonfiction books in good condition, including children’s books, cookbooks, college textbooks and many others are welcome.
