“Might and Majesty: Baptism by Fire” is the first book of a new trilogy by Sean Mitchell, a 22-year-old Centreville resident who published the fantasy novel earlier this year through the self-publishing company, CreateSpace. His book, which he wrote while attending Virginia Commonwealth University, centers on the character, Lloyd, a small-town fisherman who gets involved in the evil doings of a power-hungry kingdom. With his desire to fight against those who threaten his home and the help he receives from three friends from different lands and backgrounds, Lloyd travels the world to fight the evil forces of the kingdom Thundria. “Might and Majesty” is available for purchase on Amazon.com, Kindle and exclusively online at Barnes and Noble. Mitchell is currently finishing his degree in sociology at VCU and continuing to market his book.
