Mount Vernon — The Mount Vernon Democrats held an event on May 15 at Pane e Vino Ristorante in Lorton to get their volunteers focused on this year's elections. It also gave the volunteers a chance to meet Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe and the two candidates seeking the Democratic nod on June 11 for Attorney General, Justin Fairfax and Mark Herring.
