Those braving the rain storm on the evening of April 19 to attend The Woman’s Club’s Art Show and Sale enjoyed some great art, delicious snacks and objects to bid on for the Silent Auction and “Boozy Cake” raffles.

The work of three artists was featured at the show and sale. Stella Repper had sculpture (wood, stone and marble) and papier-mâché figures — some of which looked like bronze. Also for sale were her handmade cards.

Elke Seefeldt had an assortment of pottery and ceramics — her table looked like a magazine display. Her pieces can be seen at the Torpedo Factory Art Center where she is a member of Studio #22 “Fire On.”

The last artist featured was Dorothea Stover with her assortment of jewelry and cloisonné pictures on vessels. Like Seefeldt, Stover displays her work at a studio at the Torpedo Factory called the “Enamelist Gallery.”
