Nominees for Cappies Awards

More than two dozen students in Arlington received nominations for the 2013 Critics and Awards Program (Cappies). The Cappies is a way for high school theatre students to receive praise for their outstanding or otherwise excellent work on theater productions throughout the year that culminates in a Tony Award-style gala on Sunday, June 9, at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. More than 50 high schools participate in Cappies across the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area.
