To the Editor:
On two visits to Norway we found the meal tax for food served in a restaurant to be 25 percent or more. I can tell you that Norwegians still eat.
And so did we.
In addition to requesting a yes or no vote, perhaps the referendum should have voters vote for the Meals Tax percentage they favor.
4 percent
10 percent
25 percent and so on.
Twenty-five percent would not just be a "new stream of revenue," it would be a flood of new revenue.
