Yorktown High School Coding Club students (from left) Brandon Peck, Ji Lee, and Evan Cater are traveling to San Francisco on April 21-25 to compete in the Microsoft U.S. Imagine Cup 2015 Finals. The three team members, who will compete in the World Citizenship category with their technology that has a global application, will have an all-expense paid trip to California and will be the only high school team competing in the finals. The Yorktown HS Coding Team will be matched against college and corporate level teams. If they win in San Francisco, they will receive $4,000, and move on to the World Semi-Final Competition, and a chance to win $50,000. See https://www.imaginecup.com/country/details/us.
