The Alexandria Commission for Women seeks nominations of women who have made exceptional contributions to the City of Alexandria for its 35th Annual Salute to Women Awards Banquet. In addition to recognizing community leaders, this year’s event will commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Alexandria Sexual Assault Center and will take place on Thursday, March 26 at 6 p.m. at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. All nominations must be submitted to the Department of Community and Human Services by the close of business on Friday, Feb. 20.
