On Saturday, Oct. 10, the president and members of the Woman’s Club of McLean presented a check for $1,500 to the McLean Volunteer Fire Department. Station Commander Yolanda DeMark received the donation on behalf of the department.

The fire station held its annual open house on Saturday to display its equipment, conduct rescue demonstrations, provide fire safety information and offer fun activities for families.
