The SYA Mets 10U Travel Baseball team won the Santa Maria Voyage 2015 tournament in Georgetown, Del., over the Columbus Day weekend. The Mets, coached by Ben Lorigo dropped the first game of the tournament in pool play to the Jersey Brawlers, but rebounded with four straight wins to clinch the tournament. The championship game was a rematch of the first pool play game, with the Mets scoring a victory over the Brawlers 10-9 to clinch the tournament. The tournament was hosted by Sports at the Beach, a youth tournament baseball facility near Rehoboth Beach, Del.
