More than 50 people showed up with letters and packages to send out from the new Post Office at Lake Anne, which officially opened for business on Saturday, Feb. 6.
The post office will be officially called “Bob Simon Lake Anne Contract Postal Unit.”
“For Lake Anne residents, who had a post office in the Lakeside Pharmacy until it closed two years ago, this was a very big deal,” according to resident John Lovaas.
