Fairfax Homeless Meets Grammy Winners Through VIP Experience

Meant 2 Live Foundation gave homeless families in the Fairfax community the opportunity to have the ultimate VIP experience. Through Splendor ministry, lucky individuals had an opportunity for a private meet and greet with Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith. The concert took place on Dec. 20, 2015 at 7 p.m. at Eagle Bank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia.

Amy Grant is a six time Grammy award winner along with numerous Gospel Music Association Dove Awards. She uses her music as a philanthropy and based her career on “music that matters.” She has dedicated her career to helping people through her music.

Michael W. Smith is a three time Grammy Award winner and 45 time Dove Award winner. Smith has the talent of capturing hearts by encouraging his listeners to strive to be better.

Meant 2 Live Foundation and The Lamb Center partnered together to present another exciting addition of Splendor ministry. TLC’s mission is to “serve the poor and homeless, transform lives, and share God’s love.” The focus of the Lamb Center is to get people’s lives back on track and to ultimately get those in need to a place of sustainability.

In collaboration with D.C. Concerts, M2L presented its third Splendor event benefiting the members of the Northern Virginia homeless community. Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith greeted the members of the Lamb Center and shook the hand of every homeless individual there. Smith concluded the night by encouraging one of the homeless members to pursue her passion as a French horn player.
