Freeman Store to Host British Holiday tea

Historic Vienna, Inc. (the Freeman Store and Museum, 131 Church Street NE, Vienna) has announced the area residents will have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional British Holiday tea in the parlor of the Freeman Store and Museum on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 3 to 5 p.m.; tea, finger sandwiches and desserts will be served. Space is very limited, advance reservations are required, tickets are $35 per person. Call 703-938-5187 to make your reservation.

Santa Claus is Coming to Freeman Store

Historic Vienna, Inc. has announced that good old St. Nick will visit the Freeman Store on Sunday, Dec. 4, and again on Sunday, Dec. 11, from noon to 2 p.m. each day. Bring your children and bring your camera to capture the moment.

Used Book Sale, Kids’ Shopping Day at Freeman Store

Just in time for your holiday shopping the Freeman Store, open noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 3, 10, and 17; the ongoing used book sale will be open in the basement whenever the store is open.

Saturday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon will be Kids’ Shopping Day at the Freeman Store. Bring your kids to the store and Santa’s helpers will assist them with their holiday shopping while parents (and grandparents) enjoy holiday refreshments upstairs. The Freeman Store and Museum storekeepers recommend parents decide in advance on a dollar limit for the kids. When they are done the store will be open so everyone can get in their holiday shopping. A Breakfast Buffet at American Legion Post 180

A Breakfast Buffet will be offered Sunday, Nov. 20 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Vienna American Legion Post 180, 330 Center St., N.  Adults $9, children 12 and under $3.  Get omelets, scrambled eggs, blueberry pancakes, bacon, etc.  For more information call 703-938-6580.
